I am currently working in a pharmaceutical engineering department while in the process of earning my degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. I have a year left of school before I receive my degrees in Economics and Bioengineering. I have tutored extensively in the past, including working on a program with the Pitt Tissue Engineering Summer Camps Initiative. I am able to tutor in a variety of areas, although I do prefer to teach Physiology and Economics over other subjects. In addition, I can also tutor Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Chemistry, Physics, AP History, Business, Biology, Geography, and Social Studies. I am also able to help students prepare with the math, verbal, and writing portions of the SAT. I want to help my students to be as open minded as possible when approaching their classes. There are many ways to approach a problem or subject, and I like to show them the possibilities. When not working or tutoring, I enjoy playing sports such as soccer and basketball, as well as running. I like reading a variety of different kinds of books and at some point in my life I want to make a transcontinental trip across the country on my bicycle.
