Education
I graduated from Shippensburg University in December 2013, with a bachelors degree in Mathematics, and a secondary teaching certificate. Right after graduating from Shippensburg, I was offered a job at Berkeley Springs HS, where I have been teaching Geometry for the last 3 years. I am also working on my masters degree through Drexel University PA, which is focusing on Mathematics Learning and Teaching.
Experience
Throughout the past 7 years, I have held many tutoring sessions. I started tutoring at Shippensburg, but have continued since graduating. I have tutored all sorts of subjects, ranging from middle school math to college level math. Because my undergraduate degree was in mathematics, I am able to actually do math that many students are trying to learn, and because of my education degree, I am able to explain reasoning to students.
